Section 21 no-fault evictions have been abolished from 1 May 2026. SecureMyTenancy is fully updated to reflect the new possession process under Section 8, helping landlords navigate the new landscape with confidence.
How it works for landlords

Your tenant applies through SecureMyTenancy
They choose a product, complete our referencing forms, and we assess their risk.

We reference the tenant and issue a contract of guarantee
Once approved, we issue you a contract of guarantee for review and signing. Please feel free to share this with your solicitor or managing agent.

Your tenant completes the application
Your tenant receives confirmation of your acceptance of the SecureMyTenancy products and pays the necessary fees, completing the application process.

You are covered for the duration of the tenancy
You are covered for rent arrears that occur within the first three years of the tenancy, and for the protection provided by SecureDeposit for the full duration of any tenancy.
Processing time: SecureMyTenancy processes registrations within 2 business days of receiving all required documents and cleared payment.
